No Sound with AVI files

Actually I get no sound from mpeg files either. Last week it was fine, this week nothing. They work in Quicktime. The sound is fine. What gives?

Hi,

please go to "Options", "Properties/Settings" -> click on "Video/Sound" and make sure that you're using "Use DirectShow..."

Or try to a "real" video player like vlc if you don't like the Quicktime player!
