Windows Vista 32 SP2, default IrfanView plugins.
Is there a setting somewhere that controls what directory the Batch tooI opens with? I ask because I installed 4.30 and started having multiple problems, so instead of trying to figure it all out I completely removed IrfanView from my system (uninstalled, deleted all files, folders, and registry entries I could find) and reinstalled 4.28. Now I'm having a problem I never had before. When I open the Batch tool it uses the last opened directory as the directory to start with rather than the last directory used by the Batch tool. As I said, it never did that before. My i_view32.ini file shows this entry: [Batch]OpenDir=E:\a_Pics\A. Is this the entry that's supposed to control what directory the Batch tool starts with? That's is the one I want it to start with but it's not for some reason. I've tried monkeying around with the .ini file but nothing's worked. Can anyone see anything in my .ini file that's amiss? Options/Properties-Settings/Start-Exit options is set to "Specific Folder, E:\a_Pics\A" and it's working okay.
