If I set the Mr. Sid to anything better than 1/16 resolution it defaults back to 1/16 resolution and will not display the entire SID Images resolution.
It is a county mosiac SID file about 600mb; and would love to open with original .5' resolution; crop a small piece and save a new SID and still be able to zoom in using MicroStation (Computer Aided Drafting package we use) and see the roadways and such.
But it's only letting me open the original at a bad scale, and any crop of the original at the scale it keeps locking to is blurry; it's unusable for engineering purpose.
Computer Specs:
80gig free on HD
2 gig RAM
WIN XP SP2
ATI FireGL V5200 512MB
IS there a way to increase memory usage, like 10 gig of physical memory; I've got tons of space so I don't care about using page sys to run a couple crop processes...and allow the program to open the bad boy at 1:1.
All help is appreciated!
Thanks
