How to make IV not open audio/video fiels when scrolling through a folder?

When I open a picture in a folder that contains a ton of other images, as well as video and audio, as I scroll through the files in the folder, IV will open audio and video files and not just images. How can I make it open only images as I scroll through the contents of the folder?
