Picture not showing up

Hello, I am attempting to convert some HEIC files to JPEG and the files refuse to load anything but a completely black screen (I changed the window color and transparency option already) and I can't figure out how to stop it from doing so.

HEIC is Apple's proprietary image format. IrfanView relies on Windows Imaging Component to open HEIC images. You need to install HEIC support for Windows. The recommended solution is to install HEIF Image Extensions and HEVC Video Extensions from Microsoft Store. Unfortunately it's not free.
