How do I remove Exif data from GIFs

How do I remove exif data from GIFs I have in a folder without ruining the original files ? I'm running version 433 on Windows 7 and didn't check any of the boxes during setup. Thank you ?

I had no idea GIF supported EXIF. Yes, you can just batch convert GIF files to new GIFs (or PNGs which produce smaller files). IrfanView can't save animated GIFs, however. Also, you have to take special care in case of GIFs with transparent background.
