I have the 64-bit version installed on a brand new PC.
I use IrfanView to scroll through and rename files "on the fly." Now,say I have a bunch of files numbered consecutively from 0001 to 1000, and I want to go through each and give them more descriptive names. I open the first in the list (0001) by right-clicking and choosing "Open with IrfanView" from the context menu. The file opens in IrfanView. I can now click F2 and the Rename dialogue box appears. I give the file a more suitable name, and click the Right Arrow on my keyboard to ostensibly move to the next file (0002).
But after I do this a few times on this new PC, instead of being able to advance t the next consecutive number, Irfanview "loops back" and opens one of files I have already renamed. Is there a way to prevent this? I was able to do this on my old pc.
Thanks!
