Solved No longer do pictures automatically open in Irfanview?

I have been an Irfanview user for about twenty years, I love it and recommend it to many.

I now have a new computer (again) and on loading version 4.60 I find that there's no way to set up Irfanview to use with images, specifically, and when I open picture files I have to use the 'open with' option to get them open in Irfanview.

I know I must be missing something simple, but I need direction to find it. Can anyone please help?

You have to select IrfanView as your default application for Photos in Windows settings.
