I saw another post on this topic that did not solve my problem, even using multiple freeware utilities to mess with "Default apps."
If you've had the problem of not being able to integrate Irfanview picture file types, specifically JPG, while Windows 11 won't let you "Always use this app to open .jpg files" or whatever image file type.... You need to search the registry in the first hive HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, for this string "NoOpenWith" as a string variable and delete it as you come to the part of the hive for the image file type.
