Slow batch processin - only some of Ryzen CPUs used

    Hi all,
when I start any processing with IrfanView, only few CPUs of my Ryzen 7 are used and most of them are "parked". Overall CPU utilization shown by Win Task Manager does not rise above 10%.
I've tried both 32 and 64-bit version (4.60) and they both behave the same. I have 16 GB RAM and fast SSD, so I don't see any obvious problem with my PC.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix this? Any special setting for Ryzen or some special driver needed?
Any log files to dig into?
    Thanks!

IrfanView doesn't support multithread operation so one instance of IrfanView will simply use just one CPU core.
    My system: IrfanView 4.62 64bit, Windows 10 22H2, Intel Core i5-3570, 16GB RAM, NVidia GTX 1050Ti 4GB
