Add Windows Search results to the Batch input window

I am using the batch process to resize posters for my NAS to a specific size. I use media companion for the artwork and use irfanview to resize the posters to my systems needs. So when I find files that are 1000x1426, I resize to 1440 height then make the canvas 960x1440 in that order.

The files can be in multiple sub-folders in the same TV Show (seasons & root folder) root I'm trying to resize with the initial dimensions. I've tried irfanview's search, it finds the files, but I can't "add to batch" so I can change their dimensions. So I am wondering if there is a way to do it via Windows Explorer (Win10).

So if I do the search, right click, "add to irfanview batch"....is kind of what I'm looking to do.

I've searched the forum here and Google but nothing I see addresses this directly.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible to do? Or is there a way to make this happen that I'm not aware of?

    Thanks.

It is possible to add files from IrfanView's search to batch conversion, however it requires two steps. First, in the search dialog, click "Show in Thumbnails". In IrfanView Thumbnails window, select all files and click "Start batch dialog with selected files" in the context menu (or press "B" key).

That worked great. Saves me a lot of time from having to copy as path to a text file... Thank you for the help.

In the thumbnail tool (first time really using it).... Is there a field chooser for dimensions? I see you can sort it as such, but I only want to modify the files that don't match the dimensions I'm targeting and if there are only say 2 files to change, but 20 returns...how do you know which don't match? I don't see dimensions anywhere which I thought would be useful...thx!

I'm not sure if it's exactly what you need, if you hover the mouse over a miniature, basic info about the picture will appear.

I did try that, but it was odd that every image all showed 0 for height/width and count if I recall. These files are loaded across a local network share drive to my NAS (Synology), so I'm not sure if that is creating some kind of issue there. I wouldn't think that it would since I can search and modify the files accordingly. Overall, you've saved me a ton of work with how I can do it now, just trying to refine the process a bit more. Thank you for efforts.
