Unable to Print and Freezes on Close

"Have been using irfanview for more than 20 years & now have a problem.
Unable to print. Nothing happens, but when I try to close the program (by clicking top right red cross) get message "irfanview not responding close?"
Any ideas?"

Are you able to print from other programs on your printer?
Are you able to print on another printer in Irfanview? You may try "Microsoft Print to PDF" virtual printer.
