Solved Can I disable display of embedded thumbs and instead create a thumb from the image?

    Hi.
I'm currently using IV 4.33 and for some time I've noticed the thumbs in IV have sometimes been awful quality (often I set the thumbnail display size quite large eg., 400x400) even though I have IV set to "resample...". I only just realized that IV is displaying and upscaling the embedded thumb in the image. It's horrible. Is there some way to avoid the embedded thumb or do I need to go back to an old version of IV BEFORE it started using the embedded thumbnail? If so, what version should I go back to?
    Thanks for any help.

In the thumbnail view choose Options -> Set Thumbnail Options and see if you have disabled the use of EXIF-thumbs (see screenshot)

Thankyou very much jazzman. Problem solved.
I (thought I'd) checked all the options before I posted but I missed it obviously.
Cheers. Hope you're enjoying some good jazz.
