I've taken pictures with a Nikon D5000, shooting in RAW so the extension is .nef.
We used a GPS module hooked up to the camera to capture location, and when I open the RAW photo with Irfanview (I've got the appropriate Format plug-in), I can see the GPS coordinates in the EXIF data.
But when I do a Save-As to convert the image into jpg, no matter what options I select (even "Keep Original EXIF data", which you'd expect would work), the resulting jpg has blank GPS data.
I need to convert the images into jpg's so I can put them into a mosaic tool. But I need them geo-tagged.
Am I doing something wrong? I've got irfanview 4.35 running on Windows XP.
