Default solid colour not solid on Win10

    Hi

I have been using IrfanView since the late 90's and have found it excellent, however recently a bug has emerged and I don't know what to do about it. Previously in the drawing tool, when I was using a solid colour it would be a solid colour, now its not.

For instance here you can see I've selected blue as the colour but still red (interlaced with blue) is appearing

I have re-installed the plugins and still nothing.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Take a look at the Pen and Brush settings from the Paint Toolbar.

indeed, this solved it, I found hatching was set (interestingly I don't think I've ever even gone in there so I'm not sure how it got changed

    Much appreciated
