Default Save selected file names as TXT with byte order mark (FFFE) - VIM 4.54 32bit

When saving selected file names as TXT from the Thumbnails view, the file is saved with a Byte Order Mark, FF FE, at the beginning of the TXT file. This is different from previous versions. The BOM is not part of the 8-bit ASCII character set and is not recognized by some text editors.

I don't understand the issue, but this thread suggests that the change was intentional.
