For some years now "my" photoclub uses Irfanview to show the presented pictures on a projection screen. The pictures are shown in Fullscreen mode, so most pictures occupy the total screen area, giving best viewing result.
From time to time, members want to know some parameters, like exposure time, focal length and ISO setting. This is done by using tags/placeholders (like $E33434, etc. ) and switching on text display in full screen mode (Options>properties>full screen>show text).
But having the text all the time is ruining the viewing experience, even when set to the bottom left corner the text covers part of the pictures.
A good solution would be a hotkey to toggle the text onn/off, when a request from a member for technical data arises.
I hope such a hotkey solution already exists or can be arranged.
Thanks
