Solved Save As dialog - fix size of columns in detail view?

Using Irfanview 4.35 on a windows XP SP3 machine, I cannot find how to set the size of columns in the Save AS dialog box.
When I select Save As, the dialog box always comes with default column widths like this:


I can set it manually to a larger Name width, like this:

but it will revert to its default widths next time I select Save As.

Is there a way to set the widths default?

It is probably nothing to do with IrfanView — have a poke about in Windows Explorer and see if you can save the folder settings for the folder where you want to save your pictures.

In fact, it finally worked out by selecting "like current folder" in explorer.
