    Looking for a monitor...

    Hello

I actually have a Viewsonic P225FB CRT 4:3 monitor that I wish to change.
I have an eye on the Dell U2311H 23" 16:9 IPS panel monitor.
Price on it looks nice for my budget.
My main usage is amateur photography and post-processing.
Is it a good choice or something else should be considered?
    Thanks

    Luke

This thread is either an open invitation to spammers, or a preparatory post by a spammer.

If you're an honest user looking for a new monitor, instead of asking for random opinions from other users who may not own that particular monitor, read some PC magazine reviews, and make your decision based on a professional comparative review of numerous models.

According to this PC Pro Review its a bit expensive. They reckon that the ViewSonic Monitor is better value.

        Hello Bhikkhu Pesala

Glad to know you consider my thread is not a spammer invitation!
You'll have to know that all these LCD monitors infos are largely available on the net. The easy way.
This is the objective part of products.
Really, what I'm interested to know is what Pro or amateur photographers think about specific products.
This is the subjective part and this really what I'm looking for!

You say VP2365WB is more interesting than Dell's.
Good to know it is less pricey though.
Few days ago I did not stop my choice on it because of slow response.
But I just realize video is just second priority.
But just for fun...what do you personnaly use?

        Thanks.

        Luke
