Creating Animated PNG Images (APNG)

I have created a few APNG images to display multi-tabbed dialogues on my software reviews site to save space.

With a delay of 1000 or 2000 milliseconds the site doesn't look too busy.

APNG Assembler from Source Forge seems to do a better job at compressing the files than the previous program that I used.

If you want to produce full colour animations with transparency, then it's worth trying it out.

I exported several frames of animations from DrawPlus as PNG, or extracted all frames from a GIF using IrfanView, then combined them using APNG Assembler.

IrfanView now supports APNG playback.

Using the test version as my main image viewer for three days, I have had no problems so far.

I just found out that the same author of the software you mentioned also created a free decompiler for APNG - to extract the PNGs from an APNG

My browser, Vivaldi, supports APNG too, as do Firefox, Opera, and Chrome, but not IE11 nor Edge.
