Reported Batch conversion doesn't work for options like Brightness and Contrast

Hi,

I find batch conversions in Irfanview very convienent and I use them a lot.

Now I am trying to perform batch conversion of page scans, where I want to set Contrast to 127 to remove the background and have clean black-over-white images. Unfortunately, none of the advanced options in the top-right subset of Advanced Options works: Sharpness, Brightness, Contrast, etc. If I set any of them, I still get the original result in the output.

All other conversions work nicely.

I'm using version 4.54 64-bit on Windows 10.

What other conversion options are you using? Output file format, colour-depth, resizing, etc.
