Reported EXIF info and auto rotation not working on Canon CR3 files

Hi,

I just bought a new Canon EOS M6 Mark 2
The files open ok but for some reason don't pick up the EXIF information so the Auto Rotate doesn't work. I exported it as a jpg in Iview I have checked the info on the canon editor and it is all there

There is no Exif data in the attached image. Exporting JPG only includes Exif data for JPG to JPG.

Opening the original CR3 file should automatically rotate the image in IrfanView. Then export the rotated image as JPG.

Yes it is a Jpg because I can't upload the CR3 file so I have done a screen capture of Irfanview and my Photo editing software and attached it
