    Reported V4.25: TIFF is mirrored

    I just opened a couple of 4MB non-compressed tiffs in IrfanView and they were back-to-front (mirror images).

    Opening in other programs and importing shows them correctly.

    Try cropping them in various ways, saving as a new TIFF, etc., and see if the problem still occurs.

      My 16 bit tiffs are also shown mirrored.
      These are large files produced by Vuescan from a Nikon 4000ED scanner (typically 120MB), imported into Lightroom and then edited/manipulated/cropped.
      All 600 files are shown mirrored by IrfanView (both thumbnail and full).
      All files are shown correctly by ACDsee, XNView, Lightroom and many others.

      I just checked with a file fresh from Vuescan wihtout import into Lightroom - this one is shown correctly. I then imported into Lightroom and changed white balance and "levels". Still OK in IrfanView.
      I have no idea what causes this and at what stage of maanipulation.
      Exif, IPTC manipulation bij Lightroom?
      Older Tif files are OK - these are 8 bit ones

      Who else has this problem?
      regards
      Edwin

      I use latest versions of Irfanview, Lightroom, W2000, 4GB.

        @teaorcoffee and eh45

        Can you give us a sample file?

        (Compress your file into zip or 7z format and then upload!)

        Then we can try it also with programs like XnView, ... or others.
