Confirmed IrfanView 4.27 fails to open this Macintosh PICT file

Not that this is a huge issue for me, but here it is anyway.

When I attempt to open the attached pict file with IrfanView, it reports that the file is really a JPG. Whether I change the extension or not, IrfanView is unable to open it. It opens fine with Apple's PictureViewer.

I have compressed it with 7-zip for attachment.

PS. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, if it matters.

IrfanView 3.97 also fails to open it with the same errors.

Serif PhotoPlus opens OK.

IV 4.27 says it's a JPEG file, which it isn't. XnView opens it properly.
