Animated GIF Bugs

BUG 1. Resize the Window manually, image does not resize.
BUG 2. Resize window cursor flickers, then disappears.

All my alternative graphics viewers can't resize Gif images by resizing the application window (it's the first time I tried). Only my small context menu tool (PicaView) does.
IrfanView isn't great in showing animated Gif. Sometimes part of the image stays fixed in place while the rest is animating (download attachment). The resize window not only disappears when resizing Gif, but also when resizing graphics. When hitting the + key the (animated) image will grow, but the window won't grow with it.
I see all these things as IV characteristics and I don't mind because I seldom do these things.
