    Reported i_view32.exe & avformat-lav-53.dll

For some reason(s) that is not apparent to me when trying to play a video (flv format) by any video player it causes Windows Explorer error. Everything worked up to this point in time and this is the first time I have encountered this problem. The error messages are as follows:

Faulting application explorer.exe version 6.0.2900.5512 faulting module avformat-lav-53.ll version 0.0.0.0 fault address 0x0005f29b

Faulting application i_view32.exe, version 4.2.7.0, faulting module avformat-lav-53.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0005f29b

The OS is Win XP Pro 32 bit version with all updates. Anyone's assistance towards a solution would be appreciated. TIA.

I guess no one could reproduce it, so no one replied.

Hmmm, I don't quite see why being not being able to reproduce it would hinder one in determining the cause of the error. Is there a way of replacing the avformat-lav-53.dll file without reinstalling (something I have already tried) the application? Has that dll file been noted previously as having caused problems with other applications, or Windows Explore, or for some reason(s) becoming corrupt?
