Requested Add ability to change background colour for full screen view with right click menu

It would be great if you could change the full screen background colour to a selection of shades from white through greys to black, similar to what Photoshop and Lightroom do, with a right click menu, rather than only allowing a change of colour in the settings. The matte colour makes a big difference to viewing an image, and when presenting to people. I feel this would be very useful.

Have you noticed the fullscreen viewing option. It's not what you're asking for, but it is a way to present each image with a background that matches it's colours.
