Requested One window for all (gThumb like)

I use Linux almost eveytime and I love the one window for thumbnails and viewing mode. If there's a way to manage this in IrfanView, I can't find it. I wish I had one.
by the way, so much job has been done since the first versions (I think I used the 1.x version in 1995-96)

I don't know what the benefit would be. You can close the main IrfanView window and just use the Thumbnail viewer, then double-click if you want to view an image at full size.
