I usually use large JPG file (id est 10000x 4000 pixels) ... i noticed there's no % i think may be useful!...

Your post makes no sense to me.
What do you want to do? Resize the picture = Control R.
Change the compression. Use the slider on the save dialogue.

sorry i mean progress bar while saving in JPG (or other format)
Sorry for before! maybe my english is not good!
My op is WinXP Home SP2 irfanview 4.10
i use very large images .. so when i have to save them, my computer can take up to 30 second to complete the saving process! .. so a progress bar or a number with percentage indicating the amount of progress may be useful!
