Rejected Support for Clipping Paths

Dear sirs,
When i entering some IPTC data (such as Keywords, Copyright info, object name) in a jpeg file, clipping path in jpg losting. I try version 4.10 and 4.23 operating system Vista home premium.
i hope this bug fixed.

AFAIK, this is not a bug. This is what I found on Flikr with a quick Google search:

JPEG doesn't support clipping paths, it's TIFF and PSD that support this feature. There is no way you can make a clipping path in GIMP. Among free/opensource tools that support creating clipping paths I can name only most recent Inkscape, which is a vector graphics editor.

Since IrfanView is just a bitmap image viewer, support for layers and vectors — which is what would be required for clipping paths — is unrealistic.

I create clipping paths in Photoshop then save as jpeg. Clipping path embedded in JPEG. There is no problem. WHEN i added keywords and save with Irfanview this JPEG, my clipping path is losting.
