If so, boy! you are expecting a lot from a FREE picture viewer, aren't you?
Here is one website I saw, that people make a LOT of money doing just that.
But they use very professional tools.

I wonder if this kind of image processing belongs in an image viewer?- Two, three, or more images with different exposures need to be loaded
- The images need to be aligned
- Then different adjustments can be made
IMO this is way beyond the scope of IrfanView, though I cannot speak for Irfan.
