Slideshow without imbedded files

I love the ability to create a .exe file so that I can run a slideshow without needing to open the app, then load the .txt file of filenames, but as currently implemented the .exe apparently imbeds the pictures, which can make it rather large. That's great for portability, but how about an option for an executable that DOESN'T imbed? That would make it much easier to quickly run a slideshow.

I don't know much about slideshows, but I suspect that this is a non-starter.
Probably, you can create a batch file to do this. Since they are plain text, they are tiny.
