Copy a selected clone to paste to another

Hi guys

I have always use the very old Corel Paint to copy a selected mask from a jpg file and then paste in on top of another jpg file.

Meanwhile have been using Irfan to do most of my work but have not been able to do the above.

Is there any plug-in or can this be done within Irfan itself.

I think this will need layers support, which IrfanView does not have.
