Why is there only those others image viewers that can do a batch convert to jpeg 2000 and not iv?

Batch operations were disabled at the request of the plugin author.

The problem is the seperat plugin (JPEG2000.dll)!

IrfanView is able to Read/Save in JPEG 2000 format with the plugin "JPEG2000.dll"!
But this plugin does not support the batch conversion!
The J2K plugin support only a simple write mode!Comment

You could still do a batch job as a command line conversion though. Supported are all IrfanView read/save formats except audio/video within the limits.
