Where do I find the Plugins version number? I know you can go to Help-Installed Plugins, but that gives you the version number for each individual plugin. I want the version number for the whole installed .exe package.

see:
That means, if (like now) the current IrfanView program version is 4.32 then the current "ALL PlugIns" version is also 4.32!
(If you don't know which "whole in one" plugins package you have installed then please compare via Help menu and select "Installed PlugIns..." and the list of Available PlugIns and current versions the version numbers ... )

Hi,
I think it is not possible to see the installed package version. You may just guess like Frank described.
It is possible (but not recommended) to install a IrfanView 4.28 with the IrfanvIew Plugins 4.28, some times later update to IrfanView version 4.32 and update only the plugin package iv_formats to 4.32.
The best solution is to always use the same versions for all, so I recommend to install IrfanView and the complete plugin package (irfanview_plugins_xxx.zip / irfanview_plugins_xxx.exe) which belongs to IV.
Also sometimes DLLs won't be used in newer versions they reain after an update. It is also possible to uninstall IrfanView, check if the program folder exists and remove it manually and the install IV and the plugins. On Windows Vista or newer OS the i_view32.ini just contains a link to a user version of the ini, so it is usually safe to just delete the irfanview program files folder, if it remains after an uninstallation.
Regards
Nils
