Please Give OCR plugin for 64 bit, kadmos works only for 32-bit.
There is no incentive for Kadmos to do this. Plugins are written by third-parties.
Why can't you run the 32-bit version when you need to use OCR? Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of IrfanView can be installed and run at the same time. I use the 32-bit version by default, and only open the 64-bit version to view RAW files or extremely large images.
From the FAQ on IrfanView.com
64-bit will be faster for some operations due to supporting more RAM.
* Advantages of IrfanView 32-bit over 64-bit version:Runs on a 32-bit and 64-bit Windows
* Loads all files/images for normal needs (max. RAM size is about 1.3 GB)
* Needs less disc space
* All PlugIns will work: not all PlugIns are ported (yet) to 64-bit (like OCR) and some 32-bit PlugIns must be still used in the 64-bit version, some with limitations (see the "Plugins32" folder)
* Some old 32-bit PlugIns (like RIOT and Adobe 8BF PlugIn) work only in compatibility mode in IrfanView-64
* Command line options for scanning (/scan etc.) work only in 32-bit (because no 64-bit TWAIN drivers)
I was not even aware that I can install iview 32 bit and 64 bit side by side on the same system. I have w11-64 bit so I installed iview64 and it was working great.
Shall try to install iview 32 bit also, hope it doesn't overwrite 64 bit.
Yes, install 32-bit version and its plugins. They will be installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\ path, and has its own *.ini file to save settings independently. Tip: Use a different toolbar skin to quickly identify which version you are running.
