Default folder for save my image

Hi,

I use the latest version (4,37)

After a few tests without success i need your help.

I would like define a default folder to save my image


It's possibile ?

I don't remember seeing the question.

You can set a default Start folder for opening images in Settings, Start/Exit

The default folder for Save is the last used folder.
To save in the same folder as the image was opened from, use Save As (Ctrl S).

I don't know if you can set a default folder to save images opened from anywhere.

However, there's a Recently used folders drop down on the save dialogue.

I have carefully your post but i ask a default folder ( as the majority of programs) without use:

- Recently used folders or
- Last used folder.

Example:
1. step: With browser i save my image in the folder1
2. step: After close and reload the program, i w'd like save an other image and Irvanview,with "save as", suggest me the folder2 as default folder
