    changing pixel concentration

I am trying to correct an image taken on a phone. The original image is fairly small and definition is very poor. I have made 2 attempts at increasing the number of pixels: 1) 4000 x 2257; and 2) 1920 x 1084. If anything, the image looks much worse. I will attach 3 images showing: original, my 2 attempts. Perhaps someone will tell me how to make the changes - or, if that is even possible. Thanks.

You might get better results with Smilla Enlarger, or with a professional program like PhotoZoom if this is something you need regularly.

Here are a couple that I did with Smilla Enlarger. I am not experienced with using the program.

      efforts appreciated

Thank you for trying. I think your efforts with Smilla Enlarger are worse than where I began! Enlarging is not what I am trying to do, but to fill out the pixels, to make the image more clear. I'm trying to help someone else and really thought IV's program would do what I needed; sadly, not in this instance. I will suggest the pro program. Thanks, again.
