    Autorun CD slideshow.txt "can't read file header"

    I've followed the instructions here for creating a CD autorun slideshow using Irfanview:

    When I insert the CD (on Windows 7) and select the option to run i_view32.exe I get: "slideshow=slideshow.txt : can't read file header! Unknown file format, empty file or file not found"

    The root directory of my CD contains:
    - i_view32.exe
    - a folder named "images", containing 350 jpg files
    - an autorun.inf file, content as below
    - a slideshow.txt file containing one line per image - e.g. .\images\image1.jpg

    The autorun.inf file looks like this:
    [AutoRun]
    open = i_view32.exe slideshow=slideshow.txt

    Any ideas?

    i_options.text says that the syntax is:

    /slideshow=txtfile - play slideshow with the files from "txtfile"

    You have omitted the forward slash, so I think what you need is

    open = i_view32.exe /slideshow=slideshow.txt
