Is it possible to save .JPG as .Djvu?

Is it possible to save a .jpg, .jpeg or .png file to .Djvu format? And what are steps needed to do it? I have .djvu checked as one of the file extensions, but it doesn't show up in the 'Save as" list.

According to the list of supported formats, IV can only read djvu.

I thought I read that before somewhere. Now I know it was not just déjà vu

I think you will find some excellent free tools on Source Forge for creating djvu files.

Besides that I wonder why one would want to convert JP(E)G or PNG to DJVU, this site may help: http://djvu.sourceforge.net/
