Solved Is it possible to add a blank photo in between all photos on a slideshow?

    Hello,

I am attempting to find out if the option exists on IfranView that allows me to solve a small problem that I have with viewing photos.

I am in a competitive group that requires contestants to identify aircraft on (typically) a Powerpoint presentation. Contestants only have three seconds to view the photo, then a blank image appears for fifteen seconds to allow them time to give their answer. I am trying to find an option that would allow contestants to study more efficiently than looking at a timer all the time.

Is it possible to do something similar on IrfanView? Is there a way to either add a black image (I can find a blank image) or add a pause with a black screen for a certain time interval when viewing a slideshow? Moreover, if the time interval cannot be changed, is it possible to simply add the SAME (blank) photo in between hundreds of different photos on a slideshow?

Please let me know if this is possible, or what my best option is.

I appreciate the incredible photo viewer that you have created, it is far better than all others that I have used.

    Thank you

I think the easiest way would be to insert the same blank image five times (or images with text: "15,12,9,6,3").

Use the "Export as text file" then edit the text file in notepad and "Import text file" to create the slideshow.
