Solved Dark screen on opening IV 4.42 64bit

I have just downloaded and installed the 4.42 version for 64bit machine (desktop win7).
Unfortunately it opens with darkened screen, almost impossible to read.The 32bit version does not do it.
How to fix it?

Maybe you opened a transparent image? Try other images. The default Window background colour (used for transparency) is black. Change it in settings to white, yellow, or cyan, etc.

Please update your forum profile, if you're no longer using IV 4.38.
