Solved Support for new iOS 11 photo format HEIC?

Hello,

I recognized, that my iPhone does not store picture any longer in JPEG format. Instead of this, it is stored in HEIC (or HEIF) format now and I am not able to open my pictures in IrfanView.
Is there a plugin, to support that format?
Or is there planned anything to support it?

There is an option on iPad to store images in JPG format (Settings -> Photos -> Formats -> Most compatible)or you can convert HEIC image to JPG. Or you can directly convert it to JPG.
