Disable Sound On Wrong Extension?

I DO want the File Handling -> Ask to rename if incorrect extension option to be on. However, whenever it occurs, it pops up an alert box asking and also plays the Windows 'invalid action' error sound. Is there a way to disable this? I do want it to ask, but I want it to do so silently. Or, better still, if it could just quietly rename incorrect extensions without even asking. I doubt that is possible, so meanwhile I'm just wondering - is there some way to prevent Irfanview from making any kinds of alert / error / etc. sounds at all?

It is a general Windows setting, which you can turn off via Control Panel.

I don't want to disable the sound in all cases in Windows, though. I just want IrfanView to not make that sound in that particular case.
