Problem with text

Hi. I have been using Irfanview for a number of years and have always been able to insert text into a pic without any issues. I haven't needed to do so for a while, but when attempting to do so now, instead of having text of my chosen colour, it is inserting a box of that colour, which contains the text, if that makes sense, I guess inverse to what it has always done.

To clarify, what I am wanting is simply the text in white, with no box surrounding it.

Any help with fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Change the background transparency to what you want.
