watermark verification

I'm adding a transparent text or watermark to my photos before publishing on the internet.
Is it possible to verify if similar photos on the internet are a copy of my photo by looking up the added transparent text or watermark?

Just do a Google Image search. I don't suppose the watermark would be detected.
