Color management does not work

Hi,
It has been a few years but color management in IrfanView is still not working (IrfanView vs Windows Photo Viewer sample image below)



It is easy to see it on a wide gamut monitor or some deliberately incorrect color profile (as a test). I have enabled "Current monitor profile" from "Color management options".

Are there any plans to fix the issue?

I would compare IrfanView's rendering to some other colour managed program like FastStone or XnViewMP or GIMP. IrfanView's colour management is, by my experience, quite robust and reliable. (But I'm not using a wide gamut monitor.)
