How can I fix 3 or 4 lines in the most recently used list to make them permanent

I want to fix some most recently used lists, as I have organised my files on different disks. I often have a most recently used list chock full of almost an identical directory. I'm surprised I cannot find any previous thread on this subject.

Try editing the relevant sections in the *.ini file:
