    How to move/copy a Folder?

    Hello,

I can't for the life of me figure out how I can move or copy folders in Irfanview. I can move and copy the files but not the folders. My only folder options are to "Rename," "Delete," and "Create subfolder." Is this even possible to do with this software?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Reggie

    Hi Reggie,

Windows Explorer is dedicated to do that. I wouldn't try with IrfanView (not sure it is even possible).

Actually it is surprisingly easy. Just type the new folder name in the destination folder in the copy files dialogue. For example, copy all files in C:\My Pictures\Photos\ to C:\Temp\

In the Copy dialogue, type C:\Temp\Photos\ as the destination path. If the path doesn't exist, it will be created.
