    Reducing Image to Screen

    Good Day,
I have been trying to mess around with Irfanview (gotta admit I love it!) however the pictures that I have downloaded are larger than my monitor...soo I have to reduce the image size for every picture and when you are trying to do a slideshow it becomes a pain.
Anyhow I got into Options/Properties/Settings/Full Screen and where it gives the options to:
    A. Show images/movies with the original size
    B. Fit to screen: large images onlu (recommended)
    C. Fit to screen: all images/movies
    D. Stretch all images/movies to screen

and tried them all, however the pictures are still the original size. Could someone direct me in the right direction.

    Thank you for listening,

    Shrek

Those options (B,C,D) will scale the images while the slideshow is running. It doesn't alter the original images. To do that you must use Image Resize (R) or Batch Conversion from the File menu.
